The construction of this site began on July 20th, 2009 and has been built from the ground up. While SMTA’s new web presence was up and running functionally within a few hours, it will continue to develop and the site will continue to change. During the initial stages, you may find areas of the site that are “under construction.” Please excuse the temporary downtime as that particular section develops, if there is any. Lastly, if you see any inconsistencies, “dead” links, have any questions, or more importantly...any recommendations or suggestions, please reach me via the contact page of this site. Hello and welcome to Western Michigan University's chapter of SMTA (student music therapy association). We are gearing up for a fantastic and fun-filled, 2009-2010, school year. Our members and the public should be aware of several new things this year. One of the many changes this year is this brand spanking new website which will help guide you through the other new events, board personnel and members, presenters, merchandise, etc. You’re welcome to explore the new site and see what’s new!
